WORKSHOP | Life Drawing | Tipsy Sketching in the Gallery Wednesday 16 September 2026 | 6-8pm General Public Ticket $34.50 | Craft + Design Canberra Member Ticket $27.60 Are you curious about life drawing? Been sketching for years and feel like a fun night out with friends over a few drinks? Well, we think Tipsy Sketching is for you! Led by an experienced life model, you will be provided with some basic guidance, pencils and paper. Bring an open mind as a range of models take to the floor, striking creative and unexpected poses that will test your observation skills and keep the room laughing. What you'll be doing: • Find your spot in the Craft + Design Canberra Gallery • Get a drink from the Craft + Design Canberra bar • Start with some short poses to warm up • Get into the flow with long poses • Share your work at the end of the night, and see what everyone has created What you'll need to bring: • Any additional materials you'd like to use to draw This workshop is best suited for: • Beginners to experts welcome • All ages welcome About Tipsy Sketching The Tipsy Sketching Club was founded by Loz, an experienced life model. It was during a life drawing art class one night, that she was standing there, butt naked, not daring to flinch and she thought - ‘I really wish there was a space in Canberra that people of all artistic abilities could experience this while drinking some wine’.
