Join us and learn how to make your very own mini magazine! WHAT TO EXPECT Activity Overview Join us for a crafty afternoon. We will start with a speed zine activity to get the creative juices flowing and then do a deeper dive into creating your own zine! You can tell a story, explore and idea or medium, or just see where things go as you create! we supply all the collage materials and you also have options of our very popular acrylic paint pens! and our community facilitators will also be there guide you through the process. get excited and come along! Venue Information The event is in located in Building 1of the Pierce Community Center, Collett Place (see Map below). Signs indicating WWDACT peer Event will guide you to the door. What you can bring along We will have sharpies, pencils, pens, collage material, scissors, and glue availble to use for creating your designs, but feel free to bring along your own pen/pencil medidum if you want! please bring along you own accessibility, e.g. pillows for chairs, fidget toys, sensory headphones etc. ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION Toilets: Accessible and non-gendered toilets with baby-change facilities are available at the pearce community center. Wheelchair access: the south entrance to the building has some stairs, but there is ramp access along the north east of building 1 next to the disabled parking. Transport and parking: Free parking is available in the north and south carparks, however, we prefer if you use the north parking which also includes disabled parking and is closest to the ramp access to buiding 1 at the center.
