"Conscious Tribes" Geelong Book launch

Conscious Tribes draws on decades of work building organisations, movements and campaigns, grounded in the stories of activists and unlikely agitators. It features the story of Issara Saeyim, a Geelong local, who has become a powerful community leader at Cloverdale Community Centre, establishing Lotus Kitchen - an organisation that provides English language classes and pathways for community connection and employment. Conscious Tribes is an antidote to dark times by insisting we are more powerful than we think, asking us to reimagine the difference we can all make. The launch will feature Amanda and Issara as well as other community leaders, Liz Bonner and Sally Fisher.
