FIRE Exhibition Opening

Join us for the launch of FIRE Exhibition at Deakin’s Waurn Ponds Campus Library. FIRE brings together research from across Deakin University to explore the theme of fire as both a physical force and a cultural, ecological, and conceptual phenomenon. Drawing on work from each of Deakin’s faculties across the sciences, humanities, health, technology, and creative disciplines, the exhibition considers fire in relation to climate change, biodiversity, animal behaviour, Indigenous knowledge systems, and emerging firefighting technologies. Refreshments will be served from 4:30pm, with formalities commencing at 5pm. All Welcome. Location and Directions: This event is held at Deakin University's Waurn Ponds Campus in the Library (Building JC). The closest car park is Car Park 2, which is located at the back of the Library. The exhibition and event is to the left of the Library entrance.
