Mutha Kucha Night

Platform Arts invites artists or collectives from across Western Regional Victoria to join our regular Pecha Kucha nights. Pecha Kucha is a Japanese term for chit-chat or chatter, and the slide presentation model creates a conversation-starter for artists to exchange insights on practices or projects. Our Collective Mothering Pecha Kucha gives focus to artist-mothers, offering these multiskilled practitioners a space to present and engage with an arts audience in ways that are specific to the arts/parenting juggle. All mother-lovers are welcome to attend, but registrations to present will be reserved for mothers, grandmothers, or other childcarers. Please ensure your slides are saved as a pdf, for compatibility. Each presenter has 5-10 minutes to display and discuss their slide content, which will be screened in the Performance Space.
