Victorian Open Haggis Hurling Championships Think you've got what it takes to launch a haggis into the history books? Join us for the "Rob the British Butcher" Victorian Open Haggis Hurling Championships at the Geelong Highland Games & Celtic Festival and take part in one of Scotland's most entertaining and unique traditions! Whether you're a seasoned Highland Games competitor or simply looking for some family-friendly fun, this is your chance to test your strength, technique and courage as you hurl a specially prepared competition haggis as far as possible. With categories for Men, Women, Junior Boys and Junior Girls, everyone has the opportunity to claim bragging rights and a place on the podium. Each competitor gets one throw to glory, with trophies awarded to the winners and medals presented to the top three competitors in each category. Could you challenge the world record of 66 metres? 🎟️ Pre-booking is essential. Competitors must purchase their competition entry prior to the event and will be able to collect their official competition haggis on the day from the Rob the British Butcher’s stall.
