28–30 October 2026 | The Star Gold Coast & Event Cinemas Pacific Fair The Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) is the region's most prestigious film prize, recognised by FIAPF and celebrating excellence in cinema from across 78 countries and areas and 4.5 billion people. Each October, the Gold Coast becomes the meeting point for the region's finest filmmakers, with the Awards Ceremony honouring outstanding achievement in film, and the APSA Forum bringing together industry leaders for three days of talks, masterclasses and connection. This year's celebrations open with a special tribute to acclaimed Australian actor and APSA Patron Jack Thompson AM at Event Cinemas Pacific Fair.
