From Matter Waves to Brain Waves: New Quantum Technologies for Bioimaging

Biology is increasingly limited not by theory, but by measurement. New Australian quantum sensing technologies are opening ways of observing biological systems that were previously impossible. Emerging quantum sensing technologies are enabling researchers to measure mechanical, optical and electrical signals inside living cells with unprecedented precision. These advances have the potential to improve our understanding of disease, accelerate drug discovery and reveal previously hidden biological mechanisms. This AusBiotech 2026 satellite event will explore how innovations in quantum sensing and imaging are reshaping biological research. Conference registration is not required to attend.
