Being prepared isn't just about having an emergency kit—it's about making sure your home, health and essential items are protected so you can respond with confidence when an emergency occurs. Join us for this free, practical workshop to explore simple steps you can take to reduce risks around your home, safeguard important belongings, and prepare for emergencies while maintaining your health and wellbeing. During this interactive session, we'll explore: • Practical ways to reduce hazards and improve safety around your home. • How to protect important documents, medications and essential equipment. • Preparing your home before, during and after an emergency. • Strategies to support your health and wellbeing during times of disruption. • Creating a personalised emergency preparedness plan that reflects your individual needs. This workshop is suitable for: • People living with disability. • Older adults. • Carers, family members and support workers. • Anyone who wants to feel more prepared for emergencies while maintaining their health and independence. By the end of the workshop, you'll have practical tools, resources and greater confidence to prepare your home, protect what matters most, and support your health and wellbeing during emergencies. This workshop is free to attend, but registrations are essential.
