Join creative workshops at Tweed Regional Museum inspired by the Ritual exhibition. Participants design shadow puppets or transform a teacup into artwork while experimenting with light and storytelling.

This school holidays join us at Tweed Regional Museum for creative, hands-on workshops inspired by the Ritual exhibition. Shadow Stories: Simple Puppets Bring stories to life using light, shadow and simple shapes. Inspired by the Ritual exhibition, you will design and construct your own black card shadow puppets; then experiment with movement, light and storytelling in a playful mini performance (if you want to). My Cup, My Story What stories could a cup tell? Inspired by the Ritual exhibition, you will transform an oversized papier-mâché teacup into a colourful artwork that celebrates the people, places and everyday rituals that matter. All workshops start at 10.30am and run for approximately 1 hour. Workshops are best suited for children aged 5+ Cost: $5 (+booking fee). Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
