Empowers and educates culturally and linguistically diverse communities to address gender-based and domestic and family violence The Power Nadeshiko Women's Empowerment Project is a community-led initiative that empowers and educates culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities to address gender-based and domestic and family violence through multilingual educational resources and community engagement. The project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through the Strengthening Multicultural Queensland Program. We are holding two community screening sessions: Gold Coast Date: Sunday, 4 October 2026 Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm Venue: Southport Community Centre, Conference Room Address: 6 Lawson St, Southport QLD 4215 Program 9:30 am – Welcome and Opening 9:55am – 10:44 am – Community Screening 10:45am – 11:35 am – Panel Discussion 11:35 am – 11:45am – Feedback and Project Updates 11:45 am – 12:15 pm – Networking and Morning Tea Since 2023, we have produced 17 educational videos in English and Japanese and delivered community events across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Cairns.
