Join us to sharpen your public speaking skills and have some fun chatting with like-minded folks! Want to get better at public speaking? This is the room. Rostrum 74 holds weekly public speaking meetings at Southport Community Centre. Each session is structured, practical, and supportive — and completely free for your first visit. WHAT HAPPENS AT A MEETING: Members give short prepared speeches (2–5 minutes), participate in impromptu speaking exercises called Table Topics, and give and receive constructive feedback. The format is designed to build real confidence, not just teach theory.
