Tweed Shire Council and the NSW Reconstruction Authority are working together to develop the South Murwillumbah Master Plan. This project will help guide the long-term use of land that was voluntarily purchased through the Resilient Homes Program following the 2022 floods. The team wants to hear your perspectives on future land uses that are flood compatible and community focused. Your insights, experiences, priorities and ideas will help guide land uses that support a safer, stronger and more resilient community. Council and the NSW Reconstruction Authority look forward to continuing this conversation with you as we plan together for the future of South Murwillumbah.
