The Good Year - Christmas Party for Good People

The Good Year: An end of year Christmas gathering for people doing good things You’ve spent the year fixing things, building things, raising funds, rallying volunteers and somehow still answering emails at 10pm. You’ve earned a night off. Let’s celebrate, together! Who it’s for This one’s for the change makers: social entrepreneurs, purpose-led business owners, not-for-profit teams, board members, volunteers and anyone who’s spent 2026 quietly (or loudly) making the Gold Coast a better place. If you’ve ever said “how hard could it be?” about a community project, you belong here. What’s included • A drink on arrival to toast the year • Delicious nibbles to keep the conversation flowing • A room full of kind, clever, big-hearted people • Festive shirts as far as the eye can see (wear your loudest) • Zero pitches, zero panels, zero PowerPoints Why come Doing good can be lonely work. The Good Year is your chance to swap stories, share a laugh, celebrate the wins (big and small) and meet the people who’ll cheer you on in 2027. You’ll leave with new connections, fresh ideas and that warm fuzzy feeling that comes from being in a room full of people who just get it. Invite a friend, bring your best story from the year, and let’s raise a glass to all the good we’ve done together. Thursday 3 December 2026, 6pm - 8pm Mona Lisa’s Liar, Miami Marketta Hosted by Change Agent Academy, Hive Media and our force for good, Chelsea. Tickets are essential and spots are limited, so grab yours now.
