Tasman Sea Salt sustainably harvests pure Australian sea salt from the pristine waters of Tasmania's east coast. For one evening, we're bringing a taste of our island home to the Gold Coast. We'll begin with a drink and grazing plate from Golosi before taking you through the Tasman Sea Salt story — from the Southern Ocean and our clean-energy harvesting process to the fascinating role salt has played in food and preserving for centuries. Then we'll taste. Through a series of guided food and salt pairings, you'll discover how salt changes our perception of flavour and explore the individual character of our Natural Sea Salt Flakes, Smoked Salt, Wakame Seaweed Salt and Pepper Berry Salt. We'll taste what happens when salt meets different ingredients, explore why certain combinations work, and share plenty of ideas for using each salt in your own kitchen. With just 12 places around Golosi's intimate indoor-outdoor space, this will be a relaxed and conversational evening with plenty of opportunity to taste, ask questions and talk food.
