And LIVE ORIGINAL MUSIC FROM: QUIVERS Quivers have been making jangled guitar pop long enough now for REM to send them DM'd messages. Dream US label Merge signed the band for their 3rd release, Oyster Cuts, and Quivers toured all over Australia, Europe and the US in 2024, stopping in Seattle to film a 2nd KEXP studio performance. A hiatus followed as ex-Tassie songwriter Sam took a break to become a dad and write the upcoming next album while pushing a pram and pointing at birds and planes. They formed in 2023 to bring new life to singer songwriter, Maddie Townley’s, original music, and have been playing gigs around the Hobart music scene since.
