About this event
A five-week course for beginners Experience the energy, discipline and fun of kendo - "the way of the sword". Learn the fundamentals, challenge yourself, improve your fitness and meet new people along the way. No previous martial arts experience is needed. The course runs from 1 to 29 October, with training every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00-8.30pm. The cost is just $60. It's open to anyone aged 12+, though we do request that minors are accompanied by adults. Come and discover what kendo and the Hobart Kendo Club can offer you.
