Hobart Horror Society Christmas Picnic Social

Join the Hobart Horror Society for our Christmas social as we wrap up another year of celebrating all things horror with a relaxed afternoon picnic at the beautiful Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Whether you've been part of HHS since the beginning or are still finding your horror-loving people, everyone is welcome! 🧺 THE DETAILS 📅 When: Sunday 13 December 2026, from 12:00pm-2pm 📍 Where: Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, Hobart 💰 Cost: FREE! 🍉 Food and drinks: BYO! Bring along your own picnic food and drinks to enjoy. 🧺 What to bring: A picnic blanket, chairs if you have them, your favourite snacks and drinks, and some Christmas cheer! 🎁 SECRET SANTA (OPTIONAL!) Feeling festive? We'll also be organising an optional HHS Secret Santa for anyone who would like to participate! There's absolutely no pressure to join in. If you'd like to take part, we'll share more details about how it will work, including gift guidelines and the exchange, closer to the event. ☀️ WEATHER WATCH We'll be keeping an eye on the weather in the lead-up to the picnic. If there are any changes to the plans due to weather, we'll communicate these to registered attendees via email before the day. Keep an eye on your inbox for any updates! 🎟️ PLEASE RSVP Although this is a free event, we ask everyone attending to register for a free ticket through Humanitix. This helps us keep track of numbers, plan accordingly and, importantly, gives us one central way to email everyone with event updates or any changes to the plans. So grab your picnic blanket, pack your favourite snacks and come celebrate the end of another wonderfully creepy year with your HHS horror family! We can't wait to see you there. Hobart Horror Society
