Huon Valley writers group at Huonville Library

Connect with fellow writers, share your work, and spark creativity in a supportive space for all genres and skill levels. A welcoming writers group where members can share their work, exchange critique, and grow their writing together. Huon Valley Writers Group meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday each month and brings together a diverse mix of voices, including poets, memoir writers, comedy and fiction writers, short story authors and lovers of historical fiction. This space is aimed to create a supportive space for creativity, feedback and inspiration. Ages 25-64 Age 65+ Parking: • Maximum 2 hour stay at the library • All day parking in Council carpark, short walk from the library To ensure a successful event, please: • Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else • Don't attend if you are unwell • Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising • Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you. Accessibility: • 1 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limit • Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs • Accessible toilet with a change table for children.
