Award-winning author Tansy Rayner Roberts leads a creative writing workshop on nature-themed poetry and flash fiction. Participants receive printed handouts and ideas for developing their own writing journals. The session takes place in the Whitewater Room at the Kingborough Community Hub.

Discover how local landscapes and outdoor spaces can inspire poetry and flash fiction through quick, creative writing prompts. You'll leave with printed handouts and plenty of ideas to continue developing your own nature-themed writing journal at home. About the Presenter Tansy Rayner Roberts is an award-winning Australian author, podcaster and critic whose work spans fantasy, science fiction and crime. Writing as Livia Day, she creates cosy mysteries filled with friendship, food and murder, while under her own name she writes imaginative fantasy and science fiction. Tansy holds a PhD in Classics and has been writing professionally since her first novel was published in 1998.
