Kung Fu Introductory Workshop

Join us for 2 hours of fun as we get our heart rate up and learn some fundamentals of Chinese kick-boxing, AKA Kung Fu (Gong Fu) or Sanda. In the workshop we will work on: • warm-up: jogging and fitness drills • strength, agility and co-ordination, • stance and footwork, • basic defence and offence principles • partner work with focus mitts and kick shields • strike, kick and destabilisation skill Please wear some loose fitting/stretchy active wear and thin soled trainers if you have them. If you have focus mitts please bring them along. If you need to borrow focus mitts - please let the organiser know. And feel free to reach out with any other queries. Kids and family's are most welcome. Please reach out if you have any queries about what age is appropriate. Please note: There may be some photos taken during the workshop which may be used for promotion of future events. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken or used for this purpose - that's no worries, just let the organiser know. Otherwise, purchasing of the ticket will assume consent for photos to be taken. NB: The event will only go ahead if minimum ticket sales are reached. A full refund is available if event is cancelled.
