Join Wendy Grose for a lively sea shanty singing workshop and discover the joy of raising your voice with others. Learn traditional songs of the sea, complete with plenty of verses, rhythm and maritime spirit. No singing experience is necessary, just a willingness to join in and have some fun. Following the workshop, participants will head to the PW1 apron for a short but hearty performance on and amongst the Tall Ships, sharing their newly learned songs with the Festival audience. All ages and abilities are welcome. Workshop details • Presenter: Wendy Grose • Date: Sunday 7 February 2027 • Time: 10:00–11:45 am • Workshop venue: Founders Room, Salamanca Arts Centre • Performance: 11:30–11:45 am, PW1 apron amongst the Tall Ships • Cost: $20 per person • Suitable for: All ages and abilities Bookings essential. Places are limited. Getting there Access to the Founders Room at Salamanca Arts Centre is via Woobys Lane. Look out for the AWBF event flag to find your way. This workshop is part of the 2027 Australian Wooden Boat Festival, held in Hobart from 5–8 February 2027.
