The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach, Cathy Welsford and Angie Smith, are legends in the folk and festival world with their funny, poignant, uplifting shows chock full of contemporary folk songs that deftly, often humorously, offer potent insights into a broad array of home-grown topics. Wildlife preservation, relationships, feminism, neighbourhood blues, some of the joys of aging, rural life, heroism and standing up to tyrants are amongst the themes they expertly condense into three-minute gems with the talented musicianship and clever lyrics. They will be supported by spot and a support act.
