ALIBII (Sydney) with Sam Sly + Luv4her - Nighthawks, Melbourne

Alibii the Sydney-based alt-pop/rock duo fueled by the dynamic vocals of Will and Court—are masters of sonic defiance. Fusing "straight-out-of-the-bedroom" pop hooks with the raw, electrifying energy of early 2000s guitar riffs, driving basslines, and lively drums, they occupy a space entirely their own. Frequently described by curators as "too rock for pop, too pop for rock," Alibii has turned that exact cross-genre friction into their signature sound, drawing inspiration from the likes of Djo, Paramore, Grouplove, and MGMT. The past 18 months have been a whirlwind of momentum. Between hitting the stages across Melbourne, Queensland, and Wollongong, the duo has captivated massive crowds outside Accor Stadium for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Coldplay, and Billie Eilish, alongside a standout performance at the Rolling Stone House during SXSW. Following the massive success of their single "like a dream"—which racked up over 100k+ streams and earned heavy backing from triple j—Alibii returns with their most fierce and vulnerable offering yet. Teaming up with Grammy-nominated producer Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths), their new single "i think my body hates me" is an explosive indie-rock anthem born from a brutal, deeply personal battle with coeliac disease. It's a cathartic masterpiece meant to be screamed at the top of your lungs—whether you're packed into a crowded live venue or staring at yourself in the bathroom mirror + SAM SLY + LUV4HER
