About this event
Are you a keen birder who has always wanted access to the Sanctuary at sunrise? This event is part of the Great Southern Bioblitz. We encourage attendees to record what they see during this event and upload sightings via iNaturalist to contribute to this project. Being here before our usual opening hours will give you the chance to spot some of the less commonly seen species that live here. This event is supported by Banyule's Spring Outdoors program. Note: This survey is un-guided. If you are a beginner, we recommend joining one of our guided "Nerdy for Birdies" or "Breakfast with the Birds" events. If you are part of a local birding group, regular access in exchange for survey data may be a possibility. Contact [email protected] for more information.
