Body Weather Naarm - November 2026

Body Weather Naarm – experience your body differently Expand your physical range and experience your body in nuanced ways. Conscious of context (place, space, site, Country), Body Weather training increases fitness, strength and flexibility, and develops varied embodied qualities for performance. Led by dancer and experienced facilitator Gretel Taylor, sessions include a physical workout (‘MB’, Mind/Body, Muscle/Bone) and/or perception or imagery-led movement activities as approaches to improvisation. Body Weather is a comprehensive approach to training and performance that investigates the relationships between bodies and their environments. The practice and philosophy of Body Weather was founded in the 1980s in Japan by Min Tanaka and continues to be developed by practitioners worldwide. New and experienced dancers all welcome. *On the third session (17/11) we will have an outdoor session in a nearby park. Site TBC.
