Commentators Club Luncheon 2026

Held on the Thursday before the AFL Grand Final — as the final two teams prepare to battle for football’s ultimate prize — The Commentators Club hosts one of Melbourne’s great sporting traditions. This is more than a lunch. It’s a Long Lunch packed with big laughs, live music, AFL greats, special guests and unforgettable moments — all coming together to celebrate the game we love. Since 1997, The Commentators Club has combined this incredible day with a greater purpose, raising funds for grassroots Melbourne charities.
