Create & Connect: Junk Journal Meetup

JUNK JOURNAL MEET UP: If you’re a lover or curious about junk journaling I’ll be hosting a 2 hour session where will be doing some. I’ll take you through my process for junk journaling from how I source out materials, how not to get overwhelmed and just start, to using it as a way to keep my creative energy alive without doing major projects. You will need a journal to work on the day. It doesn’t need to be fancy or big. A5 is a perfect size. There’s an option to bring your own materials although there will be some that will be provided for you if needed. This is where you can let go and create for the sake of creating. No artistic experience is needed. I will be there to support and guide you when needed. Everything is provided for from materials, drinks and snacks for the days. WHAT IS CREATE & CONNECT: I've created a space where you can create for the sake of creating and allowing you to tap into your creative side & play! No agenda for it to be some masterpiece or up-skill, just a space to gather, experiment, express and play. We live in a world that doesn’t give us permission/opportunities to experiment and stay playful with our creative side (especially as adults) unless we crave the time and space to do so, which can be challenging for most people due to capitalism. This is where the creation of Create & Connect was inspired by where we can gather, experiment, express and play with our creative side without the hassle of it being some capitalist gain! It's something we can just enjoy and do to fill up our cups. WHO IS IT FOR: Create and Connect is great for: • Folks who are craving a space to get artsy and create with no commitment to buying any materials. • Someone quiet, maybe a little bit introverted who loves an afternoon of arts & crafts • Anyone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush or pencil in a long time and is craving that familiarity • Creatives who are paralysed by perfectionism can't make 'bad art'. Come and make it here & play!! • Anyone who is yearning for a space to connect with other creatives • If anyone wants to fill up their inner cup and connect with their Inner Child. The cost of the workshop will cover the materials, snacks and drinks for the day. For any questions or allergy requirements/concerns email: [email protected] Follow us on Instagram, Create and Connect to be updated on our monthly meet-ups. I can’t wait to get artsy with you!
