Conway’s extraordinary career has been recognised with an ARIA Award for Best Female Artist, Gold and Platinum album awards, induction into the National Film and Sound Archive, recognition as a Living Legend, the prestigious Don Banks Music Award and induction into the Music Victoria Hall of Fame. In 2020, Deborah Conway was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to the performing arts. Her autobiography, Book of Life, was published by Allen & Unwin in 2023, chronicling an extraordinary life spent at the heart of Australian music. In August 2025, Conway & Zygier released their 11th studio album together, continuing one of Australian music’s most enduring and compelling creative partnerships.
