Dedications

The Sutherland Trio (Caroline Almonte, Molly Kadarauch and Elizabeth Sellars) together with their friends Danielle and Luca Arcaro perform an all-Australian program of works connected to the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music community. Featuring two world premieres, 'Songs for Manny' by Ella Macens (an ABC Classic commission), and former String faculty member Antony Doheny’s 'Sicilenne', both written in memory of Emanuel Arcaro. The other works performed are by Honorary Senior Fellow, Katy Abbott, and Conservatorium alumni Mary Finsterer and Paul Grabowsky. Mary Finsterer's work is dedicated to Julian Burnside QC and Paul Grabowsky's work is dedicated to his great-grandfather at Gallipoli. This performance is presented as part of the Hanson Dyer Hall Concert Series. All concerts in this series can also be streamed live via our website.
