This class is part of our series Discover Drawing. You can buy the whole series at a discounted price here. Watercolour paints are a really enjoyable and forgiving medium - the paints themselves create all sorts of evocative textures and depths of colour, and even the task of mixing your own colours is really rewarding. In this class Jess will introduce us to watercolour paints and portrait drawings at the same time. No art experience necessary! There will be a model for this class. What will we cover? In this class we will learn about: • Our materials - paints, papers, brushes • Colour theory and mixing colours • Different application methods for different textures • Drying and layering colours • Brush strokes for different shapes • Other tips and tricks!
