Facilitation Training Short Course (09-10 Dec 2026)

In this workshop you'll develop skills to facilitate and lead teams and projects in a collaborative way. Great facilitation supports people and groups to work well together - so they can progress toward shared outcomes and purpose. Our training is founded on self-awareness and will build your emotional resilience so that you can navigate difference and challenging dynamics with greater ease. Topics and skills covered: • Practical facilitation including: group processes and the communication skills required to apply them • The essential principles of facilitation • How to maximise participation • How to welcome difference and bring forth group wisdom • How to build safety in a group • Develop greater self-awareness in groups • Navigating hotspots and challenging conversations • Facilitating challenging group dynamics • Emotional resilience • Skills to make meetings work well Who is the training for? We have people from not-for-profit organisations, government, corporate, therapeutic settings, private consultancy and more attend our training. The principles and skills are applicable to any realm of facilitation - and the variety in the room brings valuable perspectives to the training. We believe you can't learn facilitation without getting your hands in the dirt! Hence our training is highly experiential and hands-on. We offer participants plenty of opportunities for live practice during the course. We also welcome your unique facilitation/leadership challenges into the course and seek to provide opportunities to practice that are most meaningful to you. Tiered pricing • Tier 4: $2090 - For larger institutions and/or for those who can offer more support for others to attend. • Tier 3: $1880 - By paying this rate you also support others to attend. • Tier 2: $1724 - This price covers our costs. • Tier 1: $1515 - This is for people that may not be able to access or afford a higher rate. We want to facilitate attendance, this rate does not cover our costs. (Prices include Humanitix ticket fees - please note, all Humanitix profits are donated to charity.) Group discount We offer a 10% discount to people from the same organisation who are attending the course on the same dates. If paying by invoice please note payment must be made within 14 days of invoice being issued (or prior to course commencement, whichever date comes first).
