Gender Revel Gala 2026 "In Full Bloom"

Transgender Victoria presents the 2026 Gender Revel Gala "In Full Bloom": an unforgettable night of connection, solidarity and trans excellence. Join us at a new venue this year, the Substation in Newport, dress to the nines, and get ready for a night of perennial joy and community as we stand together in the face of uncertain and scary times. This night is not to be missed, as we eat, drink and enjoy live performances, along with the presentation of our annual Trans Visibility Awards. Note: This is a trans-centric event open to all allies who want to support their loved ones and amplify the joy of gender euphoria. 🌟 HIGHLIGHTS • A night of trans connection and supporting one another • Dazzling live performances by trans, gender diverse, and non-binary artists • Cheer for your community as we present the Trans Visibility Awards • Dance the night away with your chosen family • This event is 18+ only • All proceeds from the bar go directly to Affirmation Station, Melbourne's trans-led community hub, op shop and gender support centre THE LINEUP TO BE ANNOUNCED WHAT TO WEAR The Gala will be a fancy affair, with the theme "In Full Bloom". ELECTION NIGHT Transgender Victoria acknowledges the date of the Gender Revel Gala coincides with the Victorian State Election. While we don't know what the results will look like, we do know what our night will look like: celebrating trans excellence, standing together in solidarity and holding space for one another. Regardless of what season is ahead, this will be a night for us all to flourish and bloom. COVID SAFETY We acknowledge that COVID-19 has an ongoing impact on all members of our communities, especially our immunocompromised and disabled communities. Below are the strategies we are implementing at the Gender Revel Gala to increase our COVID-19 safety and build a culture of community care: - Free N95 and K94 masks are available and wearing is encouraged - let’s keep each other safe! - Air purifiers will be on in all spaces - Doors will remain open to all our event spaces on the night - Hand sanitiser will be made available TGV operates across lands belonging to the Wurundjeri, Boonwurrung, Taungurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Wathaurung peoples of the Kulin Nation. Transgender Victoria pays its respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledges that sovereignty has never been ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
