About this event
Are you interested in birding but want some know-how to get you started? This event is tailored for brand new birders! The event will start with a short presentation from our Biodiversity Officer, Jess Kelley on identifying features and terminology that will help you ID different bird groups and species, as well as general binocular use. After the presentation, you will be taken on a guided walk through the sanctuary to practice your new birding skills. This event is part of the Great Southern Bioblitz. We encourage attendees to record what they see during this event and upload sightings via iNaturalist to contribute to this project. This event is supported by Banyule's Spring Outdoors program.
