Introduction to Mosaics

Create a vibrant, textured mosaic plaque using an eclectic mix of materials, including tesserae, tiles, crockery, beads and stones. Across four hands-on sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of mosaic design and technique, including colour combinations, cutting, smashing and placing materials. We’ll also cover adhesives, grout, suitable bases and safe working practices. You can follow a planned design or let the shapes, colours and textures of the materials inspire your creation as you go.
