FRIDAY OCTOBER 16TH KILAT (ALBUM LAUNCH) TREPACIDE GIL CERRONE CLOTHESLINED LIC/ALL AGES SHOW RUNS 6PM-11PM Melbourne black metal trio KILAT launch their second full-length album, Tirai Niskala, at Singing Bird Studios, Frankston on October 16, joined by Trepacide, Gil Cerrone and Clotheslined. Released October 10 through W.V. Sorcerer Productions and Disdain Records, Tirai Niskala pushes KILAT's uncompromising collision of black metal and aural alchemy into darker, more immersive territory. Across eight compositions, the album explores Niskala - the unseen realm in Balinese and Javanese cosmology - through visceral sonic landscapes, dynamic hyper blast beats, tremolo-picked full-spectrum guitar sonics and hypnotic dense vocals. Recorded by Jason Fuller at Goatsound Studios, mixed by Xavier Irvine and mastered by James Plotkin, Tirai Niskala follows KILAT's 2022 debut Rantai Penjinak and extensive touring throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Tickets are $25 plus booking fee, with a concession tier available. Free entry is available for unwaged and First Nations attendees.
