Lepak Day

VUMA Lepak Day is a social event held during Semester 2, Block 3, designed to bring together Malaysian and non-Malaysian students, VUMA members, and the students from other universities to connect with the VUMA community at Victoria University. Inspired by the Malaysian concept of “lepak,” meaning to hang out and relax, the event aims to create a friendly environment for participants to relieve study-related stress and support their mental wellbeing. It also provides opportunities to meet new friends, network, and build a sense of community. The event will include traditional Malaysian games, board games, and recreational activities that encourage interaction and friendly competition. Participants can join the activities or simply relax and socialise with others. Food and drinks will be provided during the event. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet the VUMA team, learn more about the club, and build connections in a relaxed and welcoming setting. 📅 Date: 17th October 2026 ⏰ Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm 📍 Location: 370 Little Lonsdale Street (VU City Tower) Level: 13th floor 🎟️ Tickets VUMA Members — $5 refundable deposit Your full $5 deposit will be refunded once you attend the event — so it's basically FREE! 🎉 VU Students Non-VUMA member - $10, non-refundable deposit.
