Lesbirun: Mates and Dates Halloween

Mates & Dates Halloween is here to help your next bestie or something a little..tastier.. Mates & Dates is back for Halloween at the Smith Street Hotel! We will make sure you are primed for new connections with icebreakers, compliment cards, name badges, a kissing booth, and 😈 sexy scary performances.. soon to be released from the depths of hell... Blind Date is back from the grave. Adding Halloween costumes into the mix makes an already chaotic dating show even more unhinged.. Three mystery contestants, one hopeful single, absolutely no idea who’s behind the screen… Enjoy the deeply unserious spectacle of watching someone choose a date while the rest of us know they’re dressed as hannibal lectur, chappell roan and a sexy clown. We’re also throwing a Halloween catwalk, and a prize for the best dressed!! Single, taken, poly, open or monogamous - everyone’s welcome. Grab an Open to Mates sticker, Open to Dates sticker, or both! Find a new best mate, someone to run with, a questionable situationship, the love of your life, or just some awesome people to dance with until late! Its always an awesome vibe. We’re taking over the iconic Smith St Hotel, formerly The Gasometer. The bandroom has kept its awesome retractable roof, opening the whole dance floor up to the night sky. Very convenient for a spooky Halloween. Expect a big dance floor, live performances, DJs till late, drinks flowing and plenty of dark corners for whatever else you get up to. We will have entertainment programme up until 1am but the venue can stay open until 3am if the party is still popping! This event is 18+ and open to all ages. The venue is wheelchair accesible other than the upstairs / viewing deck.
