Tickets on sale 9am Sunday 30 August 2026. Swing Patrol Lindy Friday is excited to host our monthly social night featuring live music again! The last one was a sell out and we'd like to celebrate again with wonderful music by the Offbeats! Join Kate and Jason as they start the night with a beginner class, followed by social dancing to the live band. Schedule: 7pm - 8pm: Total Beginner lesson – All welcome, no experience necessary, no partner required. 8.00pm - 10.30pm: Social Dancing with the Offbeats! - Enjoy two sets of swinging music by a live band, plus DJ-ed music. *Please arrive for class a few minutes before the advertised start time, to check in and be ready to dance at the start of the lesson.* Ticket price includes both class and social! Concession price available for concession card holders, students, low income, and First Nations people. Tickets also available at the door, unless sold out in advance. As the venue has a fixed capacity, the best way to guarantee your place is by booking online. Location: Forever Dance, Level 1/432 Church St. Richmond VIC 3121. No alcohol at this event. There will not be a bar, and we are not licensed for byo alcohol. Of course you can bring your own water bottle, and soft drinks may be consumed outside of the dance studio. Waitlist: If sold out, text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311 with your name, the event name, and your preferred ticket type, and Swing Patrol will text you back if tickets become available. If the booking page shows "Access code required", it means the event is currently fully booked and tix are only available via the Waitlist. REFUND POLICY: If you need to cancel due to illness/Covid Safety, a refund will be available as long as you advise Swing Patrol via text to 0412 309 311 before 9am on the day of the event. Cancellations for reasons other than illness/Covid Safety: As the venue has a fixed capacity, refunds are not possible without 48 hours notice, as we may have turned away other dancers and need time to give others the opportunity to snap up your spot.
