Join artist Fiona Cabassi these school holidays to create a marvelous, masked creature inspired by the Maribyrnong River! What creatures live in and around the Maribyrnong River? If you could be a river creature, what would you be? Let your imagination run wild as you design and construct your very own creature mask using recycled materials, found textures and mixed media. Experiment with shapes, colours and materials to transform your ideas into a unique river-inspired character, then bring your creation to life with a mask you can wear and take home. Perfect for curious and creative kids, this hands-on workshop encourages imagination, experimentation and a playful connection to the local environment.
