Reading Pizza Party Melbourne 4 November @ Dom's Rooftop

WE'RE THROWING OUR FIRST EVER READING PIZZA PARTY 🍕📚 Join us Wednesday 4 November at Dom’s Social Club for our first ever Reading Pizza Party, bringing together books, pizza, drinks and a rooftop setting overlooking Melbourne. This is not a book club. There are no assigned chapters, no homework and no judgments about what you should be reading. Just you, your book (or e-reader), a pizza and making time to read with others doing the same. A little note: Being on a rooftop in the middle of Melbourne means there'll be some city sounds in the background, so expect more of a relaxed, lively reading atmosphere, rather than complete silence. Event info: ⏰ 6.30pm–9pm, Thursday 8 October 📍 Dom's Social Club rooftop, Melbourne 🎟️ Tickets include a drink, starter (pumpkin fritto) and a pizza. How it works: You’ll arrive, get settled in with a drink, and the Dom’s team will take your pizza order from the full menu. We’ll then settle in for some proper reading time. Once we’ve read for an hour, starters will hit the table, followed by your pizzas, as we open things up for chatting, meeting new people and hanging out on the rooftop over dinner. Come solo or bring a friend. Gluten free and vegan dietaries can be catered to! Should it rain, this event will be postponed. About the venue: Dom's Social Club is a rooftop bar and social space in the heart of Melbourne, with a laid-back atmosphere, city views and plenty of room to settle in with a book, pizza and a drink. The rooftop is accessed via three flights of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. About Reading Party Melbourne Established in May 2025, Reading Party Melbourne creates screen-free reading events across Melbourne’s best bars, restaurants and unexpected paces. Each event is a chance to make time for your book, discover somewhere new and enjoy a drink while you read. Bring whatever you’re reading, settle in for an hour of uninterrupted reading, then stay for a chat afterwards if you feel like it. No assigned books, no homework, and no pressure.
