Requiem for a Disco

Rave to the grave with a larger-than-life local lineup spinning house, techno, dnb, breaks, global beats & more over 2x Funktion-One floors. After a sell-out debut at My Aeon in August, Dive Bar Disco returns on October 31st to perform disco's last rites at Requiem for a Disco. Twelve of Naarm's best underground selectors shepherd the flock to dancefloor salvation with amor eterno running deep. Five gifted visual artists set the scene for the danse macabre, transforming My Aeon into an uncanny dreamscape of fleeting beauty. Bringing together the old school and the cutting edge, Requiem for a Disco is a proper rave for audiophiles and aesthetes alike. Seize the day. Slay the night. 🔊 LINEUP (in alphabetical order) 💀 Downstairs • Ay Ay Ay • Dee Dee • Hauswife • Jnett • Marcelo • Pixleton 💀 Upstairs • cuznmatt b2b Tahl • Mothafunk • Ranjit Nijjer b2b Slieker 🌹VISUAL ARTISTS • alittle2the_left • Jedda Selke • Ki Art • Kundalini • Visualaurax Dress Code (optional) Skeletons in the Closet: danse macabre, memento mori, vanitas, funereal, sacramental . . . black, white, red, bones, lace, feathers, sparkle, roses, crosses.
