Science and the Arts Slam 2026

Inspired by the popular Poetry Slam format, this event sees researchers take the stage to present their research in an entertaining, accessible, and engaging way - and the audience votes their winner! Each project has a connection to German-Australian research and study connections: research conducted in Germany, in cooperation with German research institutions, or a topic with a connection to German(y). Stay after the slam for a chat with the presenters, study program representatives, and to learn about study & research funding through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) - the world's largest international academic exchange funding organisation. This event is for the curious - everyone is welcome! This event is part of the German Week Melbourne 2026 program. TICKETS are free of charge.
