Spring Outdoors Possum Prowl

Ever wonder what comes out in the Sanctuary at night? We’ll take you and your kids on a bushland adventure, where they’ll discover the wonders of nature through some engaging, hands-on activities, followed by a mini-twilight tour! A great experience for both preschool and early primary kids - each child over the age of 2 needs to have their own ticket. Please note, adult supervision is required (adults are free!). This event is part of Banyule council's Spring Outdoors Program. ________________________________________________________________ FAQs What animals will we see? We are a true wildlife sanctuary so all animals within the Sanctuary are wild and free to move around; as such, we can not guarantee that you will see any wildlife. How much walking is there? This experience includes a 45min tour. Our guides will adjust the distance covered based on the ability of your group. Please let us know if walking long distances is difficult for you. What do I need to bring? Please dress appropriately for the weather (eg. appropriate footwear - no thongs or heels). At this time of year, we recommend you apply mosquito repellent! Do I need a torch? Your guide will have a spotlight to lead the way and point out any animals you encounter. Please do not bring your own torch. What happens if it rains? Wildlife don't mind a little bit of rain, so the event will go ahead even if light showers are expected. We may cancel in the event of extreme weather conditions (eg. high winds or heavy rainfall); but we will contact you directly if this occurs. How can I get in touch with any questions?
