STEVIE WONDER RE-ENVISIONED makes its WICKERS CLUB DEBUT!

I Love it Live and 'The Wickers Club' are excited to present this very special show! Following sellout shows at Birds Basement and Paris Cat, Cisco Tavares + Friends take to the Wickers Club stage for the first time with their acclaimed performance: Stevie Wonder | Re-envisioned. More than half a century ago, a young Stevie Wonder emerged—not just as a prodigious talent, but as a force that would rewire the way we hear, feel, and think about music. Though blind in sight, his vision was boundless. With sound as his medium and truth as his message, Stevie's work transcended genre, race, and era, speaking directly to the soul and consciousness of a generation— and every generation since. RE-ENVISIONS Set 1 of this project is not simply a tribute. It’s a reimagining. A bold, respectful, and deeply musical conversation with Wonder’s catalogue—both his universally cherished anthems and his lesser-known, but equally profound, B-sides. We aim to uncover new emotional and harmonic terrain within his music—highlighting the intricacy of his compositions, the radical tenderness of his lyrics, and the fearless social commentary that defined his era and still echoes today. Set 2 gets the party started as it moves through the remaining Stevie hits you know and love - from Signed, Sealed Delivered and Superstition to Master Blaster and Happy Birthday. So bring your dancin shoes! THE BAND Curated for depth, groove, and emotional range, the lineup brings together some of Australia’s most electrifying and intuitive musicians: Francisco Tavares – Lead Vocals | Joshua Tavares – Lead Vocals | Grant Windsor – Bass · Keys | Vocals Sam Cox – Guitar | Jordan Pereira – Drums One Night Only.
