Tawara no Naka (Inside the Straw Bales), is an exhibition by Canberra artist Peter Evans. The main works are oil paintings which depict the way of sumo, focussing on the critical point of winning or losing. You, the viewer, become the audience. There is a love of colour, shown in the beauty of the silks worn by athletes and referees. This show also includes smaller works by the artist, and contributions from his artistic family.
