Teachers' Night: Secondary Edition

You shape young minds every day. Let us treat you to a night that's all about you. Join us for an exclusive after-hours evening designed just for teachers. Browse at your leisure, glass of wine in hand, with 15% off everything in store. We'll have a specially curated selection of newly published titles and bestsellers laid out for you to explore, whether you're shopping for your classroom, your school library, or simply your own bedside table. Ben and Corrie from The English Lab will be hosting a collaborative session to explore three new additions to the 2027 VCE English text list. Focussing on extracts from Tara Westover's 'Educated', a story from Shirley Jackson's 'The Lottery and other Stories' and a key scene from hit film 'The Holdovers', we'll chat, share ideas, and dive deep into some close analysis! Whether you currently teach VCE or not, this session is perfect for any English teacher or anyone who simply loves uncovering layers of meaning in what we read and watch. The English Lab has been partnering with schools across Victoria since 2020, supporting teachers and students through resources and professional development focused on VCE English. It's a chance to slow down, connect with fellow educators, and rediscover the joy of browsing without the rush. Bring a teacher friend and make a night of it. Free entry · 15% off storewide · Wine available to purchase · Doors open 6pm to 8pm This is a free event. Please register via Humanitix to secure your spot.
