WNG's Inaugural BOWLS BONANZA

WNG is hositng a barefoot bowls event in collaboration with Imagine REEvolution to help them rais funds to continue their incredible works WNG's Annual Bowls Bonanza 🌿☀️ Dust off your best "I've definitely done this before" face, because WNG is hosting an afternoon of barefoot bowls in support of Imagine REEvolution, and you're invited. No experience needed. Honestly, no skill needed either. Barefoot bowls is the only sport where gently rolling a bowl towards the jack while holding a drink counts as athletic achievement. We've seen the pros at work and we're confident you'll fit right in. When: Sunday 8 November 2026, 1:00pm to 4:00pm Where: Croydon Bowling Club, 3 Civic Square, Croydon Parking: Available across the road at Civic Square. Your $65 ticket gets you: A donation to Imagine REEvolution, three raffle tickets, your bowls club fees and a beer, wine or soft drink on arrival. After that, all drinks at the club bar are at members' prices, which is the closest most of us will ever get to feeling like club royalty. The raffle (aka the main event, let's be honest) At the end of the afternoon we'll draw five fantastic prizes, all generously donated by members of BNI Eltham: • WNG Cleaning voucher (up to 4 hours of someone else doing the scrubbing) • Diamond Valley Window Cleaning voucher ($150 value) • South Morang Car Care Detailing voucher ($250 value) • LT Photography headshot session, held at BNI Eltham • Round Travel voucher ($300 value) Each prize gets its own jar, so you choose where your tickets go. Go all in on the travel voucher or spread the love strategically. We won't judge your tactics (out loud). Snags! The team from Imagine REEvolution will be running a sausage sizzle on the day, so grab one for a gold coin or a small donation (card facilities available). Every snag helps fund the programs they're part of, which makes it the most virtuous sausage you'll eat all year. Why we're doing this Imagine REEvolution runs free creative and mentorship programs for young people aged 12 to 25, and they do it without ongoing government funding. Every ticket helps them reach more young people and keep doing the brilliant work they already do. You'll roll some bowls, have a laugh, maybe win something great, and leave knowing your afternoon actually made a difference. Kids are welcome, and spots are capped at 50, so grab your tickets before someone else claims your spot on the green.
