Allen & Heath Mixing Masterclass

Mixing Masterclass: Better Monitoring, Standout Special Events Join Mega Music / Mega Pro Audio, in partnership with Allen & Heath, for a practical training night dedicated to better monitor mixes and making your next special event sound its best. Presented by Andrew Crawford – The Mix Wizard and Reid Wall (Hillsong), this masterclass brings together practical techniques, real-world experience and tips you can put to work at your next rehearsal, service or event. Better Monitoring and IEM Mixes The first hour focuses on the art of mixing monitors, with foundations for better in-ear monitor mixes and practical ways to help performers hear what they need. With more than 20 years of monitor mixing experience, Reid brings clear explanations and useful tips to help you improve your mixes. Mixing Special Events With Christmas planning underway, Andrew will explore how to prepare for and mix a special service or event. From lead vocals and backing vocals to choirs, discover techniques to bring clarity, balance and confidence to your mix, and learn what to think about before the day arrives. We’ll finish with Q&A, giving you the chance to ask questions and discuss the challenges you face behind the console. Whether you’re part of a church production team, a volunteer sound crew or an experienced audio engineer, come along to build your skills and get ready for your next big event.
