Chair Yoga 8 Week Program - Term 4

Yoga has been shown to increase strength and balance, and to help reduce the risk of falls. Chair yoga uses a chair for stability to achieve yoga poses whilst having the same health benefits. Chair yoga is a fun and gentle way to achieve great health results including increasing flexibility and reducing stress. Places are limited and registrations are essential. Bookings open 9:00am Thursday 1st October. Please Note: Due to the popularity of this program, this program is open to City of Armadale residents only. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: What age is chair yoga suitable for? Chair yoga is suited to adults 18 years and above. Can I attend just one session? Yes! We do encourage participants to attend as many of the sessions as possible, however we understand that this is not always possible. You will need to register for each session that suits you. Do I need to have yoga experience? No. All sessions are beginner friendly. Do I need to bring anything? We recommend you wear light exercise clothing that you feel comfortable in and bring a water bottle. What are the dates? Friday's, 1:30 - 2:30pm. 16, 23, 30 October, 6, 13, 20, 27 November, 4 December. Something has come up and I am unable to attend a session. How do I cancel my ticket? If you are unable to attend any session you have registered for, please cancel your ticket as early as possible so we can offer it to someone else. You can easily cancel your ticket by following the instructions in the Humanitix confirmation email you received when registering. Alternatively, please contact the City’s Health Services team at 08 9394 5855 for assistance with canceling your ticket. How can I register? Bookings open 9:00am Thursday 1st October. Given the popularity of the program, we strongly recommend registering online. Make sure you have your computer ready and register as soon as bookings open to secure your spot! Please only register for the sessions you can attend. This gives other participants a fair chance to secure a ticket before the program sells out. Can I register for a friend? When registering, you can select up to two tickets per person. This allows you to reserve a ticket for a friend or partner, while also giving others a fair chance to secure a ticket before the program sells out. I didn't get into the program. What other options are available? If you missed out on securing a spot in the program, don’t worry—you can still add yourself to our waitlist.
